About the role#
As a Koops Engineering Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience by rotating through three different engineering disciplines. You will work with our teams in Controls, Project, Mechanical, Field Service, or AMR Integration Engineering, depending on team availability and your personal interests.
What you'll do#
Your daily work will vary based on your rotation, but you will be involved in the following areas:
- Controls: Design systems, program PLCs and robots, visit customers, and troubleshoot issues.
- Project Engineering: Manage service projects, handle customer interactions, provide quotes, and perform onsite support.
- Mechanical Engineering: Design machines using SolidWorks, work with mechanical power transmission, and manage fluid power systems.
- AMR Integration: Support system testing, mission programming, and technical documentation.
- General: Tune machines, debug systems, and work directly with mechanical hardware.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time student at Grand Valley State University.
- You must be eligible to participate in the co-op program for the summer of 2027.

- This role is based on-site in Holland, Michigan.
- This is a paid, full-time position for the Summer 2027 term.
