The Maintenance Technical Intern role is a full-time, one-year training position based at the Corinth, Mississippi manufacturing plant. This role serves as a pipeline for future Shift Technical or Day Maintenance positions. You will rotate through all areas of the mill to gain comprehensive technical experience while supporting the operation and upkeep of manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do#
- Perform maintenance duties on Kimberly-Clark systems and equipment.
- Ensure the proper operation of manufacturing equipment to support production and quality goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity, with a focus on machine uptime.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions for machine non-conformances.
- Serve as a visible leader of Lean principles, including problem-solving, engagement, and zone control.
- Coordinate technical activities to support mill and department objectives.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment, or an Associate’s/technical degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Basic computer knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and math skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, drug screening, background check, and a Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
- Preferred experience includes mechanical repair and Rockwell Automation PLC knowledge.

- Term: Full-time for one year.
- Starting Wage: $22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime pay.
