About the role#
The Maintenance Technical Intern position is a full-time, one-year training role based at the Corinth, Mississippi manufacturing plant. This position serves as a development opportunity for future Shift Technical or Day Maintenance roles. Interns will rotate through various areas of the mill to gain comprehensive technical experience while supporting production operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform maintenance duties on Kimberly-Clark systems and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Support production and quality by maintaining manufacturing equipment and addressing machine non-conformances.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity while focusing on machine uptime.
- Act as a visible leader of Lean principles, including problem solving, leader standard work, and team engagement.
- Coordinate technical activities to ensure maintenance tasks align with mill and department objectives.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial environment, or substantial progress toward a 2-year technical degree in Electrical Technology or Industrial Maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge, and solid math skills.
- Ability to work a schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, drug and background screening, and a Physical Abilities Test.

- Compensation: Starting hourly wage of $22.00 USD, with eligibility for overtime pay.
