About the role#
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP invites 1L law students to join our Summer Associate program for the 2027 and 2028 terms. This program provides an immersive experience where you gain skills while working alongside innovative companies. You will participate in a firm-wide Summer Associate Retreat focused on professional development and networking. We also encourage you to engage in pro bono and volunteer opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience working with clients in established and emerging industries.
- Attend the firm-wide Summer Associate Retreat.
- Contribute to our pro bono and community volunteer initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current 1L law student status.
- Demonstrated academic excellence.
- Leadership experience in extracurricular activities.
- For Patent Prosecution roles, a degree in a relevant technical field is required. This includes Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry. Advanced STEM degrees are encouraged.
