About the role#
KGHM International offers a full-time, paid internship program at the Robinson Mine in Ruth, Nevada. This program runs from June 2027 to August 2027. You will work 40 hours per week on projects tailored to your specific field of study, including engineering, science, or business operations. Housing assistance is available.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of projects that align with your skills and career goals.
- Support daily activities within your assigned department.
- Work alongside experienced professionals to complete operational and strategic tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of university studies in a mining-related field.
- Current enrollment for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Interest or experience in the mining industry.
- Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer tasks and writing.
- Ability to follow safety protocols.
- Valid U.S. work authorization and a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old by the date of hire.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
