About the role#
As a Marketing Intern for the Run category, you will support brand awareness and community engagement initiatives. You will work directly with our team to develop tools and processes that bring the KEEN brand to life for our fans. This role involves coordinating with partners, supporting product launches, and building relationships within the trail running community.
What you'll do#
- Assist with functions for events, including KEEN owned moments, sponsored trail races, and retailer activations.
- Organize and execute seeding campaigns for key opinion leaders and taste makers.
- Develop tools and processes to ensure consistent brand representation across owned and partner channels.
- Coordinate weekly run club activities from the Portland Garage in partnership with a local group.
- Build a scalable playbook to support ongoing community marketing efforts.
- Support influencer marketing through selection, outreach, and ongoing communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or recent graduation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools quickly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail for reports and presentations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and within a team.
- A people-first attitude and comfort engaging in large social settings.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, on-site position based in Portland, Oregon.
- You must be available to work in the office 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- The internship term is Summer 2027.
- This position is paid.
