About the role#
As a Finance Intern at KEEN, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside our Accounting, FP&A, and Credit teams. This 10-week summer program offers the opportunity to support key financial projects and contribute to our daily operations at our global headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Support the finance manual project by maintaining status updates, facilitating stakeholder communication, and ensuring materials are available on our internal intranet.
- Partner with Finance teams to update process documentation, lead document workflow-change considerations, and track action items.
- Collaborate across Finance and GBT teams to evaluate data-extract options and identify reporting enhancement needs.
- Assist with month-end processes, including task preparation and reconciliations.
- Provide support for Accounts Payable during high-volume periods.
- Tackle ad-hoc projects as they arise across the Finance department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or recent graduation from an accredited program.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail when preparing reports, presentations, and materials.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Aptitude for learning new software and tools quickly.
