About the role#
As a Fan Insights Communications Intern, you will act as an internal storyteller for our Fan Insights team. You will help bridge the gap between consumer research and our internal teams by turning data into engaging content. You will work directly with industry experts to help us understand our customers and shape the future of KEEN footwear.
What you'll do#
- Create internal content such as short videos, one-pagers, posters, and Campfire posts to share research findings.
- Build and maintain a searchable Fan Library containing video clips, quotes, and study highlights.
- Manage a consistent cadence of internal communications, including study recaps and Fan spotlights.
- Partner with the team to identify compelling stories from research studies.
- Support consumer research activities by helping field surveys using platforms like Quantilope, dScout, and Qualtrics.
- Update PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets using established templates.
- Provide day-to-day project support to the Fan Insights team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student, or recent graduate status.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail when preparing reports and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Location & details#
- Location: Portland, Oregon (on-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Availability: Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week.
- Vacation: Plan no more than four total days of vacation during the internship.
- Employment status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role.
