About the role#
Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp. is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern for our rail car facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
You will support our warehouse operations, specifically focusing on kit cart processes. You will assist our engineering team with tool design and modeling tasks. Your work also involves updating operation procedures and current work instructions. Additionally, you will develop and implement continuous improvement projects related to the functional testing of passenger rail cars.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Some college experience is preferred.
Location & details#
This role is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position is paid through a contract agency. You will work part-time during the school year, with a 10-hour weekly minimum, and transition to full-time hours during the summer.
