Content Marketing Co-Op

About the role#

This is a 4-month co-op opportunity for the Fall 2026 term (September to December). You will join a new publishing initiative at Kabam to gain hands-on experience in the video game industry. Reporting to the Principal Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Product Marketing and Community teams to shape content marketing strategies for upcoming PC and console games.

What you'll do#

• Propose, plan, and execute content strategies to increase game awareness and engagement.
• Run growth experiments from initial concept through execution and performance measurement.
• Track initiative performance and report on results to inform future tactics.
• Play and record gameplay to capture footage and screenshots for marketing materials.
• Create engaging social content tailored to platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and X.
• Maintain a content calendar and manage project timelines across multiple initiatives.
• Analyze successful game launches and market trends to identify new opportunities for community growth.
• Coordinate internal playtests and facilitate communication between departments.

What you'll need#

• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Graphic Design.
• Proven experience creating content, including video/image editing, gameplay capture, and copywriting.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and how they function.
• Basic proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• A genuine passion for video games and broad industry knowledge.

• Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
• Modality: Fully on-site at the Downtown Vancouver studio.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September to December).
• Status: Paid, full-time co-op position.
