About the role#
Jungle Communications, Inc. is looking for a Marketing & Events Intern for the Fall 2026 term. You will work with our marketing, creative, and production teams to support campaigns and client events. This role focuses on hands-on experience in content creation, brand storytelling, and event planning.
What you'll do#
- Create social media graphics and content that align with brand strategies.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and special events.
- Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content at agency and client events.
- Write and edit copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Help develop creative marketing materials, presentations, and branded collateral.
- Support event logistics, including vendor coordination, setup, and on-site assistance.
- Monitor marketing trends and conduct research to support new campaign ideas.
- Collaborate with team members on content initiatives and community management.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree or career in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Applied understanding of marketing, branding, and basic design principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work as a self-starter.
- Experience with social media content creation, copywriting, photography, videography, or basic video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Google Analytics is helpful.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
- The term is for Fall 2026.
- This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week.
- Compensation is $19 per hour.
