About the role#
Jungle Communications, Inc. is seeking a creative and self-motivated Marketing & Events Coordinator for the Fall 2026 term. This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, event planning, content creation, and brand storytelling within a full-service agency environment. You will work alongside marketing, creative, and production teams to support campaigns and bring client brands to life through digital and in-person experiences.
What you'll do#
- Create social media graphics and content that align with brand strategy.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and special events.
- Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content at agency and client events.
- Write and edit copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Support video production, editing, and content distribution across digital platforms.
- Assist with event logistics, including vendor coordination, setup, and on-site support.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to inspire new campaign ideas.
- Help develop creative marketing materials, presentations, and branded collateral.
- Collaborate with the team on brainstorming innovative marketing initiatives and monitor social media engagement.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree or career in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Arts, or Event Management.
- Applied understanding of marketing, branding, and basic design principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a creative environment.
- Experience with social media content creation, copywriting, photography, videography, or video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Google marketing tools is beneficial.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time position at $19 per hour.
- The role is based on-site in Jersey City, New Jersey.
- The schedule is 20 hours per week.
