About the role#
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Accounting team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Plymouth, Minnesota. You will gain exposure to our financial operations while supporting the team on daily tasks and special projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage accounts receivable by recording incoming payments and customer trade deductions.
- Process vendor bills and record expenses for accounts payable.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Find ways to improve and automate our existing finance and accounting processes.
- Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
- Follow companywide Good Manufacturing Practices and specific food safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- You are a Junior or Senior pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
- You have a strong interest in the JonnyPops mission to spread kindness.
- Experience working in Microsoft Excel is strongly preferred.
- You possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- You can work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
