This is a part-time software engineering position designed for students to work year-round alongside their academic schedule. You will support the development of tools and scripts to improve the efficiency and user experience of OpenRTOS-based embedded software. This role involves participating in innovation efforts for the embedded development community and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Develop tools and scripts to enhance embedded software development workflows.
- Contribute to innovation projects aimed at defining next-generation tools for the embedded development community.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to support engineering objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours per week during the academic year.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and scripting languages.
- Object-Oriented programming skills in languages such as C# or Java.
- Familiarity with embedded software development workflows.
Location & details#
- Locations: Cary, North Carolina or Urbandale, Iowa.
- Modality: On-site (must be able to commute to the office regularly).
- Status: Part-time, paid position.
