    About the role#

    John Deere is seeking a Part-Time Student Software Engineer for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Moline, Illinois.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with software development tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing software systems.
    • Document software specifications and design.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
    • Experience with software development methodologies.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
