About the role#
This is a part-time student position designed to support the information technology infrastructure at John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa. The role operates year-round, requiring students to balance work responsibilities with their academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Monitor, manage, and apply changes to IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Analyze information to resolve desktop and infrastructure problems.
- Deliver infrastructure technology solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with product teams to implement process changes, including modifications to operating systems, designs, or program code.
- Communicate and maintain accurate change documentation.
- Participate in projects involving cross-functional IT departments and business partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered as a full-time student at a local college or university with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work 10 to 20 hours per week during the academic year and 35 to 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- IT knowledge gained through professional or academic experience.

- Location: Dubuque, Iowa.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This position requires the ability to commute to the Dubuque work location year-round. Relocation assistance is not provided.
