About the role#
This is a part-time student position within our Factory Engineering team in East Moline, Illinois. You will work alongside our staff year-round to support production and development goals. This role requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Support CMM programming activities within production and product development environments.
- Perform dimensional analysis based on CMM program output.
- Assist with troubleshooting CMM software, including coding and technical needs.
- Contribute to process and program improvement initiatives.
- Support quality services processes and project improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Engineering, Software Programming, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Ability to commute to East Moline, IL, on a daily basis.
- Age 18 or older.
- Availability to work 10-20 hours per week during the academic year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer.
- Experience with manufacturing, metrology, or computer programming is preferred.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
