About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will support our HR team in delivering services and initiatives that align with our business objectives. This role provides exposure to core HR functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and administration. You will work on-site at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, interviewing, candidate scheduling, and applicant tracking.
- Provide administrative assistance for HR programs, daily operations, and projects.
- Help with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and internal communications.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and various HR materials.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies and employment practices.
- Collaborate with team members on process improvements and departmental initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Preferred experience includes previous internships, administrative or customer service roles, and familiarity with HR or applicant tracking systems.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
- The role is part-time, requiring 30 hours per week during the summer and 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year.
- This is a paid internship.
