About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship based in Chicago. You will join the JLL finance and controllership teams to gain real-world experience in the commercial real estate industry. The program includes mentorship, customized training, and professional development sessions. Upon successful completion, you may have the opportunity to join the 2-year Finance and Accounting Development Program for new graduates.
What you'll do#
- Produce reporting for management and external stakeholders.
- Support projects including the preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Conduct technical accounting, research, planning, modeling, and decision-oriented analysis.
- Participate in program-wide panel discussions and lunch and learn sessions.
- Prepare and present a summary of your contributions at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
