About the role#
This Federal Work-Study position supports the Surgical Technology and Central Service Technician programs. You will help manage historical student records by converting paper files into an electronic storage system. This work ensures that program documentation remains organized, secure, and accessible according to college policies and accreditation standards.
What you'll do#
- Scan paper copies of student records for electronic storage.
- Label and organize digital files using the existing filing system.
- Review scanned documents to verify they are complete and legible.
- Sort and organize paper files during the processing phase.
- Identify missing, duplicate, or incorrectly filed documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student information in line with FERPA and college policies.
- Perform related clerical duties as needed.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow set filing and document-management procedures.
- Basic computer and scanning skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive student information with confidentiality.
