About the role#
This Engineering Co-op position offers a hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector. You will work with the Engineering Manager to manage and complete projects tailored to your interests and business needs. This role is designed to provide professional experience outside of the classroom, involving direct work in engineering, manufacturing, and quality environments.
What you'll do#
- Update manufacturing work instruction manuals.
- Collaborate with Operations Management, Engineering, and Quality teams to investigate and complete tasks.
- Create 3D models, production drawings, and Bills of Materials.
- Analyze customer applications and manufacturing requirements.
- Participate in product testing and development.
- Assist with manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Track and update project documentation using Excel and MS Word.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering program.
- Minimum 2.50 GPA.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse, global teams.
- A desire to learn and solve complex problems.
- Ability to work in a combined office and assembly or machining environment.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Must wear required safety gear, including safety glasses and shoes.

- Location: Westminster, South Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: Paid position.
