Design Summer Intern

About the role#

Iris is seeking a Design Intern for the Summer 2026 program. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about design and eager to experience the day-to-day operations of an agency. You will be fully immersed in agency life, working alongside designers, motion designers, and creatives to develop visual solutions for client briefs.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the team to produce multimedia campaigns for clients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Work closely with managers and colleagues to execute design ideas across various platforms.
• Present your work to agency leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

What you'll need#

• A degree or current enrollment in Art, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a relevant field.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong design execution and a clear creative point-of-view.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• A self-motivated and decisive approach to creative problem-solving.
• Experience in illustration and branding is considered a plus.

Location & details#

• Location: New York, NY.
• Work Modality: On-site, 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
• Term: Summer 2026 (June 15 – August 14).
• Compensation: $18 per hour.
• Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
