The Verbal Identity Fellow position is a full-time, integrated role designed for recent graduates to gain experience within a creative studio. Fellows are assigned a manager and are resourced directly to client work. This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
What you'll do#
- Understand clients’ businesses to create effective, strategic work.
- Support project leads by performing research and generating creative content, including names and taglines.
- Contribute to projects across all verbal practices, including naming, voice, messaging, and content strategy.
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, and client managers to prepare presentations.
- Distill complex information into essential components to develop naming strategies and brand storytelling.
What you'll need#
- 0 to 1 year of professional experience; previous branding or marketing agency experience, including internships, is a plus.
- A degree or background in a writing-intensive or verbal-focused field, such as English, Communications, Philosophy, Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics, or Creative Writing.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PowerPoint is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively to find insights and develop new ideas.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to discuss creative work.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is considered a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
