About the role#
This 9-week, full-time internship program provides hands-on experience within the legal regulatory and enforcement department. You will work on-site in Greenwich, Connecticut, during the summer of 2027. The role focuses on the intersection of law, regulatory frameworks, and enforcement mechanisms, offering exposure to the day-to-day operations of a global financial services legal team.
What you'll do#
- Assist attorneys with research on regulatory requirements and enforcement precedents.
- Help prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents related to regulatory matters.
- Support the team in monitoring regulatory developments and compliance issues.
- Assist in gathering and organizing evidence for enforcement proceedings.
- Help prepare for administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Conduct document review and analysis for regulatory investigations.
- Draft correspondence to regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of compliance policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in law school or a related field (Political Science, History, Philosophy, Communications, or Sociology).
- A basic understanding of administrative law and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong interest in regulatory law and enforcement proceedings.
- Availability for the full 9-week, on-site program commitment.
