About the role#
Inter Miami CF is seeking an Intern for the Foundation team during the Winter 2027 season. This part-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit operations within professional sports. You will support fundraising initiatives, game day logistics, and community impact programs while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of the Club.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Foundation fundraising initiatives such as the 50/50 Raffle, Round-Up Campaign, Scoreboard Shoutouts, and the Florida Specialty License Plate Program.
- Support matchday activations by helping with event setup, breakdown, logistics, and fan engagement.
- Manage Foundation volunteers by assisting with recruiting, scheduling, and communication.
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, organizing documents, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Use Monday.com to assist with project management and task tracking.
- Coordinate prize fulfillment, donor acknowledgments, and supporter communications.
- Maintain Foundation inventory and event materials.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to execute Foundation programs.
- Support daily operations and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program in Sports Management, Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- A passion for nonprofit work, fundraising, and community impact.
- Experience with Monday.com, bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, and a passion for futbol are all considered pluses.
- All applicants must pass a pre-employment background check.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Term: January 11, 2027, to June 4, 2027.
- Schedule: Part-time, fewer than 20 hours per week. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Modality: On-site at IMCF Stadium and NU Stadium as needed.
