About the role#
This internship offers graduate students the chance to contribute to semiconductor technology development. You will work on projects that support AI, high-performance computing, and advanced device manufacturing. The role provides exposure to the full technology lifecycle, from research and design to large-scale production.
What you'll do#
- Develop semiconductor technologies and manufacturing solutions.
- Use analytics, modeling, simulation, and experimentation to solve engineering challenges.
- Improve yield, quality, and performance through data-driven insights.
- Partner with engineering and technology teams to drive next-generation innovations.
- Support safe, sustainable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 months of experience gained through research, laboratory work, internships, or academic projects.
- Experience with programming, automation, visualization tools, or design of experiments.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Albuquerque, New Mexico; or Phoenix, Arizona.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 start dates.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
