About the role#
This internship focuses on the design, development, and optimization of AI software solutions within the Intel Foundry group. You will work on projects involving machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision to improve manufacturing processes and hardware-software integration.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize machine vision models to process and analyze image data.
- Build statistical models to predict risk and impact related to semiconductor wafers.
- Apply machine learning and data science techniques to solve manufacturing and engineering problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and improve process efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming and machine learning techniques.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling.
- Background in machine vision, image processing, and time-series data modeling.

- The position requires an on-site presence.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
