About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to work on software used by real customers. You will gain experience in how business and technology integrate, focusing on enterprise software development, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Create, maintain, and debug automated test cases across multiple environments and customers.
- Develop carrier, agency, and consumer web applications based on specifications or business needs, with guidance from full-time developers.
- Collaborate with a project team including .NET Developers, Database Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Learn about product release schedules and business goals to understand how your contributions fit into the broader project scope.
- Build knowledge of product functionality and configurability.
- Use internal defect tracking tools to manage projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. program in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to reason logically and propose solutions.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to deliver work under deadlines.
