About the role#
The Bingham Fellowship is a one-year paid position for attorneys between judicial clerkships. You will join the Institute for Justice as a full member of our case teams. This role provides hands on experience with public interest litigation and helps you build skills in constitutional law.
What you'll do#
- Litigate constitutional cases in federal and state courts.
- Participate in every stage of the litigation process.
- Work directly with clients on active cases.
- Receive mentorship from experienced attorneys.
- Complete expert media training.
What you'll need#
- A strong background in constitutional law.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- An interest in the mission of the Institute for Justice.
- A desire to create real-world impact through your work.
- Availability to fill a block of time before or between clerkships.
- A degree in Political Science, History, Communications, Journalism, or Philosophy.
