About the role#
The Student Leadership Coordinator develops and oversees leadership programs for students. You will work with management to build a high-functioning program, organize the Student Government Association (SGA), and promote activities both on center and in the community.
What you'll do#
- Plan and facilitate leadership development training for students.
- Oversee the Student Government Association, including weekly meetings and committee activities.
- Promote student involvement in activities and community service projects.
- Ensure the SGA operates according to DOL, corporate, and center plans.
- Model and mentor students on the eight Career Success Standards.
- Participate in Center Management Teams and track program outcomes.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate leadership opportunities throughout the center.
- Provide initial leadership training during the Career Preparation Period.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and facility cleanliness while following safety practices.
- Participate in required staff training and meet performance management goals.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma (an associate degree or higher is preferred).
- At least one to two years of related experience in education.
- One year of experience working with youth.
- Willingness to work evening and weekend hours.
