About the role#
InFirst Federal Credit Union is hiring interns to support branch operations and member services. You will assist with daily financial tasks and take on special projects that impact our credit union operations. This role involves direct interaction with our members and requires a clear understanding of our policies and goals.
What you'll do#
- Provide professional service to members in the branch, via email, phone, text, and web messaging.
- Help members and guests with their financial transactions.
- Resolve member inquiries quickly and accurately.
- Learn and apply credit union policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
- Participate in team meetings and share your ideas for operational improvements.
- Manage assigned projects and track your progress.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation on your projects to senior management.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- You must be able to pass a credit, background, reference, and bonding check.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
Location & details#
- Locations: Alexandria, Roanoke, Salem, and Fredericksburg, Virginia.
- This is an on-site, part-time position.
- The role is paid at a rate of 15 to 18 USD per hour.
- Positions are available on a rolling basis.
