About the role#
As an Avionics Electrical Propulsion Engineering Intern, you will work with our engineering team to develop hardware for the Electra electric propulsion system. This role involves the full development lifecycle, from initial design to final integration. The internship is a 12-week, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and test custom circuit boards.
- Develop avionics hardware for electric propulsion systems.
- Perform circuit design and analysis.
- Conduct board bring-up, debugging, and testing.
- Assist with hardware integration tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering or related degree program.
- Experience with circuit design and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with PCB bring-up, debugging, and testing.
- Familiarity with avionics hardware.

- Location: Redondo Beach, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June to August/September).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid internship.
