About the role#
The Sports and Special Events Intern will assist with the planning and execution of events at IMG Academy. This includes sports tournaments, team training visits, corporate meetings, student engagement initiatives, and non-sports camps.
What you'll do#
- Support the Events Department with production timelines, event maps, budgets, and event orders.
- Help develop operations plans covering security, restrooms, ticketing, and parking.
- Research and contact vendors and internal partners to secure equipment and supplies.
- Assist with the physical set up and breakdown of assigned events.
- Manage the on-site environment, including signage, client check-in, and vendor coordination.
- Develop entertainment elements and experiences for events.
- Create recap documents, guides, decks, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate event records.
- Adhere to all company policies and business ethics.

- Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug test, including a Florida Level 2 Background Screening. Availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
