About the role#
Ideas United is seeking a Writer Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative studio environment, working alongside in-house creatives to support various projects. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Learn the roles and responsibilities of each team within the company.
- Work closely with an intern manager who will guide and assign tasks.
- Develop scripts, campaign materials, social content, and pitch presentations.
- Edit copy for grammar, clarity, structure, and house style.
- Perform coordinator tasks for projects and participate in project brainstorms.
- Shadow projects to gain knowledge of the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on internal projects and assignments.
What you'll need#
- A strong desire to learn about the creative industry and a passion for exploring new topics, people, and organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong storytelling instinct and a sharp editorial eye.
- The ability to receive and act on feedback.
- An enthusiastic demeanor and a connection to the company mission.
- Availability to work during the entire summer program.

- Commitment: 20-25 hours per week
- Compensation: $16.50/hr
