About the role#
Iceberg Finance is looking for a Bilingual Recruiter Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role supports recruitment efforts across Canada and provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition and human resources. You will work alongside experienced HR professionals to learn full-cycle recruiting practices.
What you'll do#
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective candidates.
- Screen applicants and assess qualifications through phone interviews.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Post job advertisements and assist with candidate sourcing.
- Support recruitment initiatives for multiple open positions.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with various HR and recruitment-related projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Fully bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous customer service, sales, call centre, or administrative experience is preferred.
- Exposure to recruitment, HR, or staffing environments is an asset.
- Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, or other sourcing platforms is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid, on-site 4 days per week).
- Duration: 3 months.
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
