About the role#
This internship offers practical experience within an automotive manufacturing environment. You will support department functions, learn about manufacturing systems, and build technical and critical thinking skills while contributing to the delivery of vehicles.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational and administrative tasks and provide technical support for your assigned department.
- Gather and assemble information for departmental use.
- Attend training, meetings, and conferences to learn about the business.
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
- Research, develop, and complete a project based on departmental goals.
- Present your final project to your department and Human Resources.
- Comply with Business Management, Environmental Management, and Safety Management system requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior academic standing.
- A cumulative grade point average between 3.0 and 4.0.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Majors in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

- Location: Montgomery, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time, paid position.
- Note: The role may require occasional travel, overtime, or flexibility in working hours including weekends, holidays, and off-shift assignments. Sponsorship is not provided.
