About the role#
As an FPGA Engineering Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Needham, Massachusetts. You will work on real projects that contribute to our electronic trading systems. We do not assign fake intern projects. You will be an active member of the team and make daily contributions.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic background to advance our high-performance computing systems.
- Work with mentors to solve technical problems.
- Manage a project through the full FPGA development life cycle.
- Create tools to automate RTL and testbench generation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with sophomore standing or higher.
- Completion of or current enrollment in coursework such as Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization, or Embedded Systems.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience writing Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL through internships or academic projects.
- Proficiency in a scripting or high-level software language like Python or Perl.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with FPGAs and tools like Vivado or Quartus is preferred.
