About the role#
As an FPGA Engineering Intern at HPR, you will contribute to high-performance computing and electronic trading systems. You will work alongside mentors to solve technical challenges and take ownership of a project throughout the entire FPGA development life cycle. This role focuses on building tools to automate RTL and testbench generation.

What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Sophomore standing or higher).
- Successful completion or enrollment in relevant coursework such as Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization, or Embedded Systems.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Internship or academic experience writing Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
- Familiarity working in a Linux environment.
- Proficiency with a scripting or high-level software language such as Python or Perl.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience working with FPGAs and familiarity with FPGA tools like Vivado or Quartus.
