About the role#
The Hospitality Intern supports premium hospitality operations within a VIP club environment. You will act as an on-site concierge and operational contact, helping to ensure a high standard of service for guests. This role involves coordinating food and beverage operations, supporting service staff, and maintaining clear communication between departments.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary hospitality concierge and on-site contact for guests.
- Monitor the guest experience to identify improvements in service, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Handle front-line guest recovery and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Assist with the operational oversight of bartenders and servers.
- Monitor food and beverage operations, including quality and replenishment.
- Act as a liaison between Hospitality Services and other departments.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of the VIP club to maintain service standards.
- Assist with pre-event preparation and setup verification.
- Document operational issues and guest feedback.
- Support special VIP requests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, catering, or live events is preferred.
- Strong customer service and hospitality instincts.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during guest interactions.
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple operational needs at once.
- Confidence interacting with guests, vendors, and leadership.
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems with limited direction.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
