    About the role#

    The Business Intern in Operational Excellence will support a portfolio of enterprise-wide improvement projects at the Hospital for Special Surgery. This role offers exposure to healthcare operations, continuous improvement methodologies, and strategic project execution within a premier hospital system. The internship duration is 6 to 8 weeks, depending on availability and project needs.

    What you'll do#

    • Support enterprise-wide improvement projects focused on enhancing patient experience, clinical efficiency, and operational performance.
    • Collaborate directly with senior leaders, physicians, nurses, and administrative stakeholders.
    • Translate data into actionable insights to drive project outcomes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current progress toward an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Operations Management, or Data Science.
    • No prior years of experience required.
