About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within a healthcare setting for students pursuing a career in Human Resources. You will report to the Senior Human Resources Specialist and assist with daily operations. The role lasts between 3 and 6 months and may be used for college credit. This is an unpaid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative HR tasks to support department operations.
- Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Help coordinate credentialing and compliance activities.
- Provide support for performance management and learning and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members and handle general administrative duties.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Human Resources, Psychology, Public Health, or Business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat for creating and manipulating forms.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion regarding confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
