About the role#
Hometown Veterinary Partners offers hands-on externships for veterinary students at our small animal general practice locations. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term. We focus on providing a supportive environment where you can learn and grow.
What you'll do#
You will work directly in our hospitals to gain clinical and professional experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the positive culture and community spirit within the hospital.
- Actively supporting the well-being of pets and people in the local area.
- Participating in individualized mentorship programs that cover surgery, treatments, and the business side of medicine.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current veterinary student.

- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Champlin, Minnesota
- St. Paul, Minnesota
- Spencer, Massachusetts
- Charlton, Massachusetts
- Gurnee, Illinois
- Orland Park, Illinois
- Schaumburg, Illinois
Externs are compensated hourly. Some travel and housing stipends are available.
