About the role#
Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP offers a 10-week summer program for 2L students. This program is designed to identify future associates, with a focus on promoting talent from within the firm.
What you'll do#
Summer associates receive work assignments consistent with those given to first-year associates. You will be given meaningful responsibility, including:
- Significant involvement in witness and trial preparation.
- Engagement in briefing tasks.
- Preparation for depositions and hearings.
- Participation in a structured mentorship program with assigned partners and associates.
- Attendance at a scheduled series of social events.
What you'll need#
- A strong commitment to professional growth and teamwork.
- Excellent writing skills.
- A willingness to take on significant responsibility.
- Academic background in fields such as Political Science, History, English, or Communications.
