About the role#
As a Digital Content Intern, you will work alongside our Digital Content Specialist and the broader marketing team to support our digital presence. This ten-week program provides hands-on experience in content creation, web management, and graphic design within the insurance and financial services industry. You will contribute to real projects while learning how we prioritize, scope, and track marketing initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with content marketing initiatives and help develop collateral for sales and stakeholder events.
- Participate in team check-ins to observe how marketing projects are managed and tracked.
- Support website updates using WordPress, including landing pages, web forms, and location-specific content.
- Research website content gaps and basic SEO considerations for product pages.
- Help build forms for internal and external audiences.
- Design graphical elements for marketing assets, social media, and digital visuals under the guidance of our creative team.
- Support the quality control process by checking content for accuracy.
- Complete a final project or presentation to summarize your contributions and learning.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS or equivalent degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field.
- Rising junior or senior standing is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Interest in content management systems like WordPress and writing for digital audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, ask questions, and collaborate within a team.
- A detail-oriented approach and a willingness to learn new things.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML/CSS are considered a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship based on-site in Fort Worth, Texas.
- The term runs for ten weeks, from June 2, 2027, to August 5, 2027.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
