Quality Assurance Intern - Summer 2026

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Quality Assurance Internship for Summer 2026 based on-site in Longueuil, Quebec. The role focuses on supporting quality processes for large-scale landing gear development and production programs.

What you'll do#

• Support the product quality focal point for development and production programs.
• Update quality plans and implement associated team training.
• Define and implement a new tool to improve access to customer requirements.
• Manage non-conformities and documentation related to deliveries, including FAI production and customer approval.
• Ensure operational conformity to AS9100 standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct floor audits to review instructions and operator compliance.
• Review spot checklists and internal audits based on sub-process criticality.
• Migrate corrective actions to a new tool and implement a KPI dashboard.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing tools to reduce manual tasks.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a combination of relevant experience and a college diploma in these fields.
• Bilingualism in English and French, both written and spoken, to communicate with international suppliers, clients, and subsidiaries.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically CATIA.
• Strong aptitude for data analysis and technical problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and autonomy.
