Materials & Processing Co-op

About the role#

The Materials & Processing Co-op supports engineering activities throughout the manufacturing process of landing gear components, including assembly, electroplating, grinding, honing, and paint. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2026 based on-site in Strongsville, Ohio.

What you'll do#

• Participate in continuous improvement projects to support Engineering Department goals.
• Assist the Director of Materials & Processing and the engineering team with daily activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective manufacture and assembly of landing gear components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, MRB, and Quality engineers to investigate non-conforming parts.
• Use Catia and Solidworks software to support drawing changes.
• Participate in department and cross-functional meetings.
• Support operators with questions or training related to engineering changes.

What you'll need#

• Completed at least 2 years of study toward a technical degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering and be currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Computer software literacy, specifically with Office and Catia V5.
• Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
