About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you represent Heart + Paw on campus for the school year. You will connect with fellow students to share information about externships, summer jobs, and career opportunities. This role provides priority access to externship programs and networking chances with veterinarians. This is a paid position with a $1000 annual stipend, plus company merchandise and access to a wellness coach app.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary brand representative on campus.
- Keep the team informed about upcoming career fairs and campus events.
- Answer questions from students regarding externship and summer job programs.
- Help coordinate student body events for the fall and spring semesters.
- Participate in webinars designed for Student Ambassadors.
- Staff booths and support career fair activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited DVM or VMD program.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A driven approach to your work.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with your peers.
- Experience or willingness to coordinate events.
