About the role#
HealthFitness offers internships for students completing university requirements at corporate, community, or hospital facilities. This role provides direct exposure to fitness and health operations while you gain practical experience in your field.
What you'll do#
You will help members with fitness and wellness guidance. Your work includes performing fitness evaluations, interpreting test data, and prescribing exercise programs. You will assist with compiling participation data and completing reports. You will also help market wellness programs, assist with special events, and support the fitness staff with daily office tasks.
What you'll need#
You must be a Junior or Senior level Bachelor's or Master's student in Kinesiology, Health Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. You need current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. A Personal Training or Group Exercise certification is a plus.
Location & details#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Spring, Texas. The position follows a rolling term.
