Water & Wastewater Engineering Student

About the role#

Hatch is seeking a Water & Wastewater Engineering Student for a full-time Fall 2026 work term. Based in our Mississauga office, you will support global water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. This role provides hands-on experience in an office environment, working alongside industry professionals on complex infrastructure challenges.

What you'll do#

• Conduct research related to water and wastewater projects.
• Perform data analysis to support engineering problem-solving.
• Assist with technical report writing.
• Participate in equipment selection and sizing tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Theoretical knowledge in areas such as Environmental Science, Water Systems Operations, and Management.
• Practical experience gained through hands-on training with industry equipment or pilot-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering and business fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work collaboratively within a team.
