About the role#
The Customer Support and Customer Success Intern will participate in rotations across Customer Support, Product Management, and Customer Success teams. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience with eScholar products, internal operating processes, and customer engagement strategies.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to customers and manage incoming issues through the incident management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements for incident intake, issue tracking, and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in testing and continuous improvement efforts for support processes and internal tools.
- Experiment with AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance reporting, issue triage, and team productivity.
- Assist with Customer Success and account management activities, including preparing materials, tracking follow-ups, and monitoring engagement.
- Gather end-user requirements for data pipelines and operational improvements.
- Analyze source system data to identify quality issues and anomalies for ETL routines.
- Participate in functional and technical design sessions and customer success planning activities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server, Postgres, or Oracle.
- Experience with Python and other programming languages.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as AWS Quicksight, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud-hosted applications.
- Experience with version control and functional testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Prior experience in the education sector through internships is preferred.
