About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the Harris Central Appraisal District. You will gain exposure to our operations while working within one of our divisions, including Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, or Property Appraisal. The program begins with a week of training to introduce you to our culture and organizational procedures.
What you'll do#
- Provide professional customer service on a daily basis.
- Assist with department tasks and general administrative duties.
- Observe and learn from experienced staff members.
- Gain a practical understanding of our policies and organizational culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A basic understanding of data analysis techniques.
