About the role#
Haize Labs builds safety tooling for LLMs. We focus on identifying and eliminating failure modes in language models to make them reliable for deployment. As a Research Intern, you will work on fundamental safety research and build tools that influence how companies verify and apply these models.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with customers to adapt our core R&D for different domains.
- Build out core infrastructure, cloud tooling, and UX around our algorithms.
- Deliver a human-in-the-loop product experience.
- Ship tools used by developers across the world.
What you'll need#
- Experience with machine learning in an applied setting.
- A strong open source presence or a track record of software engineering projects and employment.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on our research.
- A desire to break things and a rebellious attitude toward conventional systems.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Location & details#
- Role is full-time and on-site in New York, New York.
- Attendance is required 6 days a week in the office.
- The internship term is rolling.
- Visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates.
