Member of Technical Staff Intern

About the role#

Hacktron AI is looking for interns to contribute to the development of security products. This role offers high ownership and the opportunity to work in a small team environment where your code directly impacts the product trajectory.

What you'll do#

• Architect and ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and CLI.
• Design, experiment, and iterate on approaches to improve security review workflows.
• Own critical systems with a high degree of autonomy.
• Define, scope, and review key projects, including setting priorities and sequencing deliverables.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in production.
• Document progress and share knowledge with the team.

What you'll need#

• Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Expertise in Typescript, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, message queues, relational databases, and automated testing.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with an understanding of infrastructure trade-offs.
• Understanding of web application vulnerabilities, potentially demonstrated through CTF competitions or CVE discovery.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
