About the role#
Hacktron AI is looking for interns to contribute to the development of security products. This role offers high ownership and the opportunity to work in a small team environment where your code directly impacts the product trajectory.
What you'll do#
- Architect and ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and CLI.
- Design, experiment, and iterate on approaches to improve security review workflows.
- Own critical systems with a high degree of autonomy.
- Define, scope, and review key projects, including setting priorities and sequencing deliverables.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in production.
- Document progress and share knowledge with the team.
What you'll need#
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
- Expertise in Typescript, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, message queues, relational databases, and automated testing.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with an understanding of infrastructure trade-offs.
- Understanding of web application vulnerabilities, potentially demonstrated through CTF competitions or CVE discovery.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
